Katy Perry might sing about "The One That Got Away," but she doesn't want to waste her time talking about him.
In an interview with Sydney's Daily Telegraph, Perry reveals that she refuses to let heartbreak dictate her life.
"[Ex-husband Russell Brand] hasn't spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce. I don't want to talk about him – my songs will say what I need to say," she says.
Instead of wallowing over the 2012 divorce, Perry, 30, has distracted herself by indulging what she calls her "little fearless invincibility streak."
"I'm one of those people that likes to be fearless," she says. "I don't like to live in fear because that traps you and your voices. Fear is a control tactic in the world that is negative and depressing and I don't want to be associated with it."
